  • Condition: Here is a vintage Japanese woodblock print that has been framed and is dated 1964. It is numbered on the back 71/200 . It was purchased from an affluent local home rich with expensive oriental decor. It is a black and white shaded capture entitled "Garden of a Zen Temple" and I have not opened the frame and will offer a full refund if new owner is unsatisfied and can disprove it's authenticity. The wood outer frame has some scuffing and scattered wear etc but is structurally solid and still ready for immediate hanging in my opinion. The print inside seems to have been properly mounted and matted into the solid 18 1/2" x 13 3/4" glass covered frame. Teeny dark smudge on matting under signed area by Shiro Kasamatsu. For accuracy. I am not an art dealer but when opportunity arose to acquire this investment grade block print, I immediately shelled out as the artist is famous and unfortunately deceased. This vintage 1964 signed and numbered print will certainly increase in value.
