Description
This 1967 Chevrolet Chevy II 2dr Sedan (Nova) has the cool old-school street machine style. This clean and crisp pillared coupe has a thumping 327 V8 under the hood. It makes for a sharp-looking Chevy that loves to have some blacktop fun. Fully restored around 2010.
A nice cowl hood, Chevy Rally wheels with trim rings and hub caps, and Chevy racing flags on the fender... . The light silver / blue paint has a nice finish and was done in base-clear. It's nothing too fancy to keep you from driving this lightweight V8 car, but it has a good gloss that also highlights the good body panels and gaps overall. Bright chrome bumpers and minimal trim bring together the sharp and clean style of a car that was quietly elevated above stock level.
A clean and simple black interior looks excellent and was also refinished during the restoration. The condition of the carpeting, door panels, upholstery, and dash all tell you that they invested in the interior to make sure that it also feels inviting. The radio has been upgraded to an AM/FM digital tuner w/cassette, but your favorite additions will be the driver-oriented ones. The Chevy's three-spoke steering wheel and upgraded gauges under the dash are period-correct pieces that add to the sporty appeal.
The tidy engine bay shows off a very clean and mean powerhouse. This is Chevy's 327 cubic inch V8, and it looks great with a clean/bold block, bright air topper, and finned valve covers. It's built right with a four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and long tube Hooker headers that feed the dual exhaust. There are solid driving features, like the three-speed automatic transmission and an aluminum radiator w/electric fan.
Engine: 1968 327 Camaro Block, Stock crank & rods -STD bore. 10:3:1 flat top pistons. Comp Cams 280 magnum hydraulic camshaft 280H .480 lift duration @ .50 + 230 degrees. Chevy cast iron #461 heads ( Camel hump heads) High volume pump with moroso 6qt pan. Hooker super comp. headers 1 3/4 x3 collector. 2 1/2 exhaust with flowmaster super 44 mufflers. Holly 650 CFM double pumper Carburetor. Stock water pump, 160 degree thermostat and a 6 blade flex fan.
This is a very cool-looking custom V8 machine. So if you want a Nova that represents its custom car era well, you know this is worth a closer look
