This is an antique papier mache head doll from the 1920s or 30s
The provenance from the original owner is written on back of the shoulder plate, indicating this doll was purchased from Greece and given as a gift to Alice on December 25, 1936
This doll is 19" tall and has a papier mache head, cloth body and blue glass sleep eyes
She comes wearing her original outfit, a lovely blue organdy dress with matching hairbow, undies, socks and shoes
The doll has a boo-boo on her nose and a slight dent on her cheek as shown, but her body is in excellent condition for its age with no tears, holes, leaks or major issues (minor signs of age or use may be present)
Her dress is missing one bow and a couple of minor small spots on the shoulder, with one shoe being split at the sole, as shown
A lovely doll and the stand is included for display
