20" antique Greiner type unmarked papier mache shoulder head,  painted blue-green  eyes, red accented eyes, nostrils & lips, brown eyebrows, lightly blushed cheeks, closed pink lips, painted black hair styled with a center part and deeply molded all over curls, exposed ears.   The hair shows 6 tiny areas of missing paint, and a larger 1.5" x 1/2" area of flaked paint in the back.  Her face is very nice, plate shows a fine surface hairline  on lower front plate, with a 1" edge chip on the right front plate, and a tiny edge flake off the left shoulder edge. The soft tan leather arms are long ago replacements with machine stitched fingers, and the body & upper legs have also been replaced (very nice quality work), lower legs are original with red & white sewn-on stockings and brown leather high top shoes with small heels, all in good aged condition.  The head measures 5" high,  shoulder-to-shoulder measures 4". She wears a pretty (1960's vintage) dark red & gold cotton print dress (has a lined bodice) with a matching bonnet, a beige cotton gored petticoat with an eyelet bottom ruffle. A wonderful old doll ready to display. She is from the collection of the late doll artist Frances Reedy.   Buyer pays shipping, I accept Paypal.
