Antique 26" paper mache papiermache blonde doll (label removed) all original TLC

Description

This beautiful 26" tall and all originally dressed,
early German,
circa 1890-1910,
Sonneberg
-type, papier-mache shoulderhead
doll
(probably by Muller & Strasburger, paper label removed long ago as shown in photo 5), Germany) has her
original, horsehair stuffed cloth body with original leather lower arms, cloth legs and original leather sewn-on boots (needing repair or replacement)
. Her lovely molded blonde hair is styled with center part and covered ears and perfect curls all around. She has the sweetest expression with blue/grey painted eyes and blonde eyebrows and
softly painted finish with no repainting or touchups.
Her
original layered outfi
t includes a wonderful, red, calico-printed cotton dress with lovely black velveteen trimmed collar and gathered sleeves, printed stockings, petticoat and bloomers
which have no stains or holes and no odors as she is from a smoke free home.
She makes a delightful addition to any early doll collection and will look wonderful in a child's antique rocking chair. (loc D) Other dolls and items shown are
