Antique Wax Over Paper Mache Doll Glass Eyes England Slit Head 19" Pink Dress
Antique English wax slit head doll with glass eyes, wax over paper mache, mid 1800's, human hair, 19 1/2" tall, leather arms with left arm having wear to the leather, sawdust stuffed body, pink top is sewn on so I couldn't photograph her wax shoulder plate but it is all there, pantaloons are excellent overall, red wool skirt has 4 or 5 tiny moth holes, white underslip is excellent overall showing a tiny bit of wear, pink skirt has lots of small wear holes mostly in back, pink top has wear holes in the fabric as well with some liner added under the back to keep the fabric from sheering apart, Victorian antique gold filled or brass pin with tiny seed pearls, straw hat excellent, doll stand not included.
