    Description

First, please disregard that fuzzy black mark that appears in the pictures.  It is NOT on the item but in my camera.
Offered here is a vintage milk glass compote by the renown Westmoreland Co.  The pattern is Old Quilt and it was a very popular pattern for Westmoreland being produced from 1940 thru 1984 when the company closed.
This piece is marked with the WG mark on the bottom for Westmoreland Glass.
This compote, which is actually a bowl for all intents and purposes, is in very good condition with no chips or cracks.
This fine vintage piece measures approx. 8" at the widest and about 6" tall at the highest.
Milk glass is very beautiful to use especially in the summer when it gives a cool, crisp look to food serve or décor.  It is also striking during the Christmas holidays when used with red ornaments or for serving as it reminds one of the snow of the season.
Please check out all the pictures provided carefully as they are part of the description and show the item and its condition.  You are getting the item shown, as shown, as is.  If you have any questions please ask.  Do allow me time to respond as I am not always on the computer.
My items are from estates, auctions, consignors and other such venues.  They are not new.  I am very fussy about what I offer on ebay.  I tell you everything I know about an item and what I see.  However, I am not an expert in anything.
PayPal is accepted and I only ship to confirmed addresses within the continental United States.  All shipping includes tracking and USPO insurance.  I package very well.  In case of damage the buyer agrees and is responsible to open the claim with the USPO for reimbursement.  This can be done by taking the item and its packaging to the USPO or going to the USPO site on-line.
    Thank you.
