    Description

    This is a woodblock print of three figures in a night rain, one a fisherman and two hidden by umbrellas. It measures 14 3/4” x 6 3/8” by sight and is stamped by the artist at lower right. It is glued to a sheet of paperboard that measures 17 1/2” x 9 1/2” and then framed under matte and glass. It is in good condition. The work is titled Shower at Terashima and the artist is
    Hiroaki (Shotei) Takahashi (1871-1945)
    and the print was made circa 1930.
