    THIS IS A FINE ANTIQUE PRINT WITH GOOD AGE IDENTIFIED ON FRONT AS WELL AS IN THE MARGIN WHICH IS HIDDEN BY THE MAT, THE SIGNATURE BLOCK SEEMS RIGHT.
    THE FRAMED SIZE IS 15 1/4" BY 19", PRINT SIZE IS 9 3/4 BY 14 3/4".
    HAND COLORED ON HAND LAID PAPER WITH GOOD BLEED THROUGH ON BACK, THIS IS A NEW ORIGINAL UKIYO-e BY KAWASE HASUI CONTEMPORARY OF HIROSHI YOSHIDA.
    NICELY MATTED AND FRAMED, THE CONDITION IS VERY GOOD.

    Kawase Hasui used traditional landscape paintings such as snow, moon and rain to express Japanese aesthetics.
    He is known as the person who established a new ukiyo-e print together with Hiroshi Yoshida, to revive the declined Japanese ukiyo-e print.
