Korla Pandit
(1921-1998) was known as the godfather of exotica. He is perhaps best known for his 1950’s TV show “Korla Pandit's Adventures In Music” where he often played organ and piano simultaneously. The icing on the cake, "Not once in 900 performances did he speak on camera, preferring instead to communicate with viewers via that hypnotic gaze." It’s that gaze that is the unmistakable mark of Korla Pandit.
This Korla Pandit pin is a loving tribute to this master of exotica and features Korla with his bejeweled turban and hypnotic gaze. Pin comes mounted on its original backing board and features two black rubber style clutches for extra safety.
