This booklet contains 13 routines, all based on the "find the target" monte concept -- and none of the routines use cards, so they have an immediate interest level for those looking to include some gambling or monte routines in their repertoire that get away from the familiar card montes.
They include monte presentations with money (bills and coins), matchboxes, small containers (a la rattle bars), etc.  There are also some more esoteric monte props, like crayons, waste paper baskets (for a stage size three shell game!), cups of water (yes, find the cup with the water in it), chewing gum and color changing knives.
Nice handling of UF Grant's bill transpo with a monte presentation, and also a neat adaptation of Larry Jennings' "Look, an Illusion" using bills, not cards.   Dan Harlan contributes two clever routines, and I really liked one of the rattle bar routines that used a different gimmick from the classic approach.    And although my mention of the Wastebasket Monte might have made you cringe, I could see someone making a signature effect out of this.    It is very clever and fun.
A few of the routines miss the mark in my opinion, like the Coloring Book Monte -- but who knows?    With 13 very creative monte routines in the book, there are bound to be a few that try to hard.    There are still a good number of routines that will want to learn, and even the wilder ones will inspire your creativity.
