    1922 Born in Kisakata-machi, Akita Prefecture
    In 1946, a high school art teacher in Akita Prefecture
    1955: He went to Tokyo and devoted himself to woodblock printing.
    In 1957, he won a prize and became a member of the Japan Print Exhibition.
    1977: He withdrew from the Japan Print Association.
    In 1989, he was commended for his meritorious deeds by Kisakata-machi.
