a Vintage Original 1900's A-4 Style Gibson Mandolin. The top is made of the finest attainable quality carved spruce. The back and sides are made of fine solid carved maple, originally stained to look like mahogany. The fingerboard is made of ebony, embedded with mother of pearl fret markings. The machinehead has an original "The Gibson" and logo made out of genuine mother of pearl. What makes this model stand out from the others can be seen in the tuning machines, as they are meticulously ornamented and embedded with genuine mother of pearl as well.
This mandolin shows signs of many years of usage, a testament to it's originality in both form and shape. The inside of this instrument is structurally sound and the sound of this instrument is outstanding. The action is very comfortable and ready to play!
Comes with a hard shell case with a maroon plush interior.
