    Description

    Such a special beauty!
    Outstanding, 22 1/2" tall, large,
    early
    glass eyed, paper mache (papier-mâché) shoulderhead, child-like doll in all original condition. She has a 6" deep ,rounded shoulderhead and a wonderful commercial,
    horsehair-stuffed
    , cloth body,
    with well shaped derriere and defined waist
    and
    cloth legs with wonderful antique, brown leather shoes
    . She has beautiful, deeply molded, short curly, black hair framing her pretty face with center-part, exposed ears, high forehead and
    inset black glass eyes
    with lots of detail, eyelashes, brows and sweet little mouth. Her original
    leather hands have wonderful long finger details
    and she wears original layers of charming, antique undies including lace trimmed and pleated, petticoat, bloomers and stockings beneath her absolutely
    charming, off the shoulder, gingham printed cotton gown with scalloped neckline and lots of wonderful gathered skirt
    . She proudly wears her
    First Place UFDC blue ribbon from Region 2, 1996
    and has had
    no repairs or repaint and is in wonderful condition.
    She has no cracks or dents, no splits, no damages or odors and is from a smoke free home. Her stuffing is still firm (although the leather is weak at her elbows). She'll fill up a child's old rocking chair very nicely!  Her current blue book value is over ,800.
